EOL Technician

Position Summary:

Supports the production process by ensuring TMs are repaired to standard and interprets tester data.  Reports directly to and assist the area Team Leader in striving to meet company goals through compliance with the company’s Vision, Core Values HTGP Employee Guidebook.

 

Essential Functions:

Corporate:

  • Adheres to the Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain (HTGP)  policies and procedures
  • Learns, demonstrates and upholds HTGP Core Values
  • Complies with all HTGP Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001 and Health and Safety OHSAS 18001 policies and procedures
  • Treats all HTGP team members with respect and professional courtesy
  • Always strives to maintain a positive work environment
  • Performs additional assignments / duties as required by management

 

EHS:

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Consistently meets company safety goals

 

Technical:

  • Understand and applies correct LOTO procedures and leads others in same
  • Working knowledge of all TM parts
  • Understands NCM procedure
  • Communicates with tester technician to understand cause of TM failure
  • Interprets data from testers to determine repair needed
  • Supports any weekend repair work as needed
  • Capable of working select test line processes if needed
  • Maintains reservoirs and filters
  • Assist in analyzing down time of equipment 
  • Knowledge enough to accomplish all repairs required
  • Demonstrates an active understanding of processes and procedures, standards and methods 
  • Conducts and supports new Team Member or existing Team Member training
  • Understands daily reports and can complete in Team Leader’s absence
  • Demonstrates knowledge of equipment including operations such as resetting and simple trouble shooting
  • Maintain 5’S on the test stand and surrounding area

 

Leadership:

  • Back up for Team Leader
  • Support leadership direction and decisions
  • Takes appropriate initiative to eliminate production obstacles
  • Establish positive relationship with Team Members

 

Education

  • High School/GED (required)
  • Associates degree (preferred)

 

Reporting

  • Reports to:    Area Team Leader

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

Physical demands also at times may include safely handling multiple, continuous parts flow in and out of manufacturing operations work areas which requires pushing and pulling of carts.  Work environment is climate controlled in most areas.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years relevant job related experience required.
  • Overtime required as needed.
  • Assembly experience is required.
