Position: Filler Operator
2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1am, Overtime available
Summary: As a Filler Operator, you will be trained to independently operate and troubleshoot filler machines and other related equipment on an aerosol production line. The Filler Operator is responsible for making sure that production lines have raw materials for operation of line, responsible for elements of change over, operation of production equipment, and related duties. The Filler Operator will maintain production records and ensure standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are being followed. They will be required to comply with all regulatory, safety and environmental requirements. This position requires a high attention to detail and being able to work efficiently throughout the day.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform line set up, start up, operations, line clearance, and changeovers
- Performs equipment adjustments, as necessary
- Performs machine setups in accordance with applicable procedures and setup instructions
- Accurately completes and maintains all production and quality records
- Conduct quality checks – weights, crimp, and depth
- Fill out Quality paperwork throughout the shift
- Responsible for reporting problems to the Supervisor and/or Line Operator
- Always follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Responsible for line efficiency as well as product yield
- Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment as needed
- Adequate housekeeping shall be always maintained during the shift, creating an organized layout for all personnel
- Review and ensure appropriate adherence to quality, safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as directed

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous Machine Operator or Filler Operator experience preferred
- Prior Experinece in a QA/QC role preferred
Physical Requirements / Work Conditions:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk, climb ladders, bend, stoop, pull and push
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in confined areas
- Ability to work with chemicals and high-pressure propellants
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary
