Job Description

Supported Employment Professionals (Job Coaches) assists individuals with developmental disabilities in:

Discovery and Career Planning

• Writing Resumes
• Teaching good interview skills
• Planning goals
• Portfolio Development

Marketing and Job Development

• Engage in Community building (networking)
• Job Development (assisting with finding long-term employment, approaching employers, filling out applications, negotiating hours & wages)

Job Coaching

• Assist/teach people with their daily job tasks
• Build them to so supports can eventually fade out
• Help identify natural supports (coworkers)

Required Qualifications:

The successful Supported Employment Specialist (Job Coach) candidate must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have dependable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance
• Provide a clean driving record
• Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Be flexible, motivated, and self-directed
• Be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
