What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Specialist position at IBP?
Installed Building Products is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Insurance specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate named insured schedule in coordination with tax, legal, fleet, facility, and leasing departments.
- Support branches with Certificates of Insurance requests via our broker’s portal
- Communicate lease insurance requirements to brokers and request certificates of insurance as required by the lease.
- Support finance team with certificate of insurance requests for various financial relationships.
- Save electronic copies of insurance policies and endorsements.
- Process insurance premium invoices.
- Provide various insurance documents as requested to branches and other departments i.e. dec pages, rate pages, endorsements, experience mod rate, etc.
- Assist with insurance renewal.
- Participate in renewal strategy meetings
- Assist with due diligence for acquisitions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
