IBSS Corp. is seeking a skilled Grant Writer with experience in securing funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to join our team and help us advance our projects and initiatives.
Overview:
The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to the NSF and other funding agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing, specifically within the information technology, science and research fields, and a proven track record of successful grant submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities from NSF and other relevant organizations.
- Collaborate with project leads to gather information and develop compelling proposals that align with funding agency guidelines.
- Write, edit, and format grant proposals, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to requirements.
- Prepare budgets and assist in the development of project timelines and work plans.
- Manage the proposal submission process, including tracking deadlines, ensuring eligibility and compliance with grant proposal requirements and ensuring timely submissions.
- Stay informed about NSF policies, funding priorities, and best practices in grant writing.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and updates for funded projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with funding agencies and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, social science, communications).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, with a focus on NSF proposals.
- Demonstrated success in securing grants from the NSF or similar funding agencies.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Superb time-management skills.
- Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with federal grant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in budget development and financial reporting for grants.
