Description
IBSS is seeking a full time Research Assistant to provide scientific support to curate scientific materials and develop original manuscripts which explore the intersection of marine Carbon Dioxide Removal (mCDR) or offshore wind and NOAA Trust Resources including fish, fisheries, essential fish habitat, protected species and fishing communities.

- Create a shared, annotated citation library of relevant literature
- Assist with workshop planning, including inter and intra-agency outreach/collaboration focused on scientific information sharing and manuscript development
- Leading of manuscripts and other documents
- Masters degree required but PhD preferred in marine science or marine biology
- Evidence of published papers
- Proficient writing and organizational skills
- 2 years work experience in marine science
- Knowledge of marine carbon dioxide removal and offshore wind development s
