Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for a Dietitian Assistant to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: The dietitian assistant serves to assist the dietitians with tasks that do not require RDN licensure. These tasks include screening our inpatient population and provider referrals to identify patients who need to be seen by a clinical dietitian. Additionally the dietitian assistant will help the outpatient dietitian schedule patients’ and manage his/her calendar. The assistant will also help with projects as needed by the clinical dietitian team.

Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Nutritional Services Manager

Qualifications
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition
Experience: One year hospital experience preferred
Language/Communication: Able to communicate in English effectively in both written and verbal forms
Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to establish productive working relationships with multidisciplinary team and support services, as well as ability to relate well to patients from a multi-ethnic community and varied learning levels
Performance: Ability to organize tasks and function independently and in a timely manner
