Idaho Milk Transport is a rapidly growing, family-owned and operated trucking business serving markets in 20 U.S. states, hauling stainless steel tankers containing liquid food grade commodities since 1986. We have local opportunities within the Southern Idaho region.
As a Local Milk Loader, you will be responsible for transporting milk locally on a daily basis, ensuring timely delivery and safe handling of dairy products. With core skills in driving and commercial driving, including a CDL A license with Tanker and Doubles/Triples Endorsement, you will operate a tractor-trailer to transport milk to various locations. Your premium skills in handling tankers will be essential in maintaining the quality and freshness of the milk during transit. Leveraging your relevant experience as a delivery driver and in route driving, you will efficiently load and unload milk, contributing to the smooth operation of our distribution process. We are currently seeking experienced Milk Loaders to serve our Dairy Farm Customers.
Local Drivers are home daily, with varying shifts, sometimes overnight runs*
Opportunity to make up to $34.50/hour with OT after 40 hours.

Minimum Hiring Guidelines
· 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 5 years; Preferred.
· All Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL along with a tankers and doubles/triples endorsement.
· Must possess a valid DOT medical certificate issued by a certified medical examiner.
· Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
· Clean driving record; preferred.
· Applicant must provide a full and complete employment background for the previous 10 years.
· Applicant must successfully pass a road test in equipment similar to which will be operated.
· Applicant must have knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
· Applicant must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends; we are a 24/7, 365 day a year operation.
Responsibilities
· Transport liquid bulk product over land to and from dairy farms and processing plants.
· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
· Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
· Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process.
· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
· Collect and verify delivery instructions.
· Report defects, accidents or violations.
