Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is hiring a Compliance Business Analyst to work in our Business Management department. You will support acquisition Policy & Assurance functions, ensuring compliant contracting activities that connect resources to research.
Our team works an on-site 9x80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls, ID, EROB facility with every other Friday off!
You will be a recognized subject matter compliance expert coordinating assessment and assurance activities for the Acquisition & Contracts Management Organization.
You will report to the Manager of Policy & Assurance.
Responsibilities
Perform assessments to ensure compliance with policies and support benchmarking efforts with other laboratories and entities to verify agreement on best practices and develop and deliver training to staff.
Compliance responsibilities will include the development of compliance strategies, maturation of the compliance program, performance of internal assessments, analyzing compliance data to manage / mitigate risks, and supporting internal / external audits.
You will work with acquisitions, finance, business offices, internal audit, records management, and other relevant organizations to support internal processes.
Maintain precise documentation to justify decisions, conclusions, findings, and recommendations.
Assure INL’s interests are protected by assessing risks; identify process improvements and identify areas where automation efforts could improve current processes.
Obtain lead assessor qualification, mentor junior assessment team members, and coordinate risk management activities to develop and implement performance improvement mitigation strategies.
Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Create solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapt existing approaches to resolve issues.
Use evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action.
Identify, enhance and develop procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided.
