Position Summary:
IEC is looking for a skilled Porter to work at two of our communities (172 units total) located in Sunnyvale, California. The Porter must have experience working in an apartment community and strong communication and follow-up skills, both with residents and other team members.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, leasing office, all common areas, all amenities, to include fitness center, fire pit areas, pool, and BBQ
- Walk the grounds to pick up litter, pet waste, etc.
- Sweep the dumpster areas
- Assist maintenance and office staff with various tasks such as posting property correspondence to tenants, such as resident events, and others as assigned
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
- Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them
- Demonstrate customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect
- Ad-hoc assignments as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of working experience at an apartment community
- Customer service oriented
- Availability to work Weekends
