Role Title: Customer Service Representative
Role Description
The Plant CSR plays a critical role in orchestrating customer traffic through the facility in communicating orders and accounting system information along with directions as needed, and other critical information to drivers. In addition, managing all phone traffic and other production-related tasks. Role requires exceptional organizing skills with a strong focus on details and must be accountable. An ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a customer service type role and be very familiar and effective in utilizing Microsoft programs.

Role Responsibilities
65%
Direct interaction with customer drivers and ILC accounting system. Order & Customer setup acknowledgement at time of pickup, reviewing all new incoming orders with printing and organizing, daily review of prior day loads for accuracy on paper and in system, communication to Urbandale office on order issues or other accounting / system problems.
15%
Operations type tasks for accountability of performance status of plant and systems, hourly pay role review of daily hours with tracking of vacation and other non-worked hours,
20%
Office / Clerical type task including answering phones, ordering and maintaining office/plant supplies, maintain files in organized manner, maintain inventories of products through in-house programs and accounting system, assistance to Facility Manger and supporting staff.
Qualifications
Work Experience: Three to Five years in Customer Service type position or similar
Education: preferred – bachelor’s degree
Other Expectations
Dependable with good communication skills and enthusiasm
Ability to multitask with accuracy and be accountable – good phone skills
Must be reliable with confidential type information – personnel and operations
Attention to details and problem solver
Must be flexible in working hours - not always an 8-hour day
Strong computer skills and proficiency in all Microsoft programs
