Position Overview:

We’re urgently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Yard Goat Driver to join our team in Ontario, California. As a Yard Goat Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of our operations by efficiently moving trailers and containers within our yard, supporting our logistics and dispatch teams to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate yard goat equipment to move trailers and containers between designated locations.
• Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance on yard goat equipment to ensure reliability.
• Follow pre-established routes and procedures for efficient trailer and container movements.
• Coordinate with dispatch and other team members to execute timely and accurate trailer movements.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and operational protocols while on duty.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience with route driving and maneuvering large vehicles in tight or confined spaces.
• Ability to load and unload trailers, with experience using forklifts or other yard equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and team members effectively.
