Part-Time Lab Help
Illinois Crop Improvement Association was formed in 1922 as the unbiased authority for seed certification and grain quality analysis in the state of Illinois. We are currently looking to hire part-time workers immediately.
- No experience necessary, training is provided. We offer flexible hours Monday- Friday between the hours of 8-5.
- Great work environment.
- Part time but can lead to a full time position.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing samples for testing
- Planting seed tests in lab and/or greenhouse
- Operating lab equipment such as balances, pipettes and analyzers
- Entering test data via iPad
- Disposing of completed tests and samples
- Filing paperwork
- Cleaning lab equipment and work areas
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates will need to be able to work in environmental conditions which include exposure to dust, soil, sand, plants, water, humidity and high/low temperatures. Some duties include long periods of standing or sitting.
