Equipment Maintenance Technician-Manufacturing

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems, including electrical and mechanical components. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting using schematics and ohmmeters.
• Maintain mechanical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
• Weld components as necessary to repair or fabricate equipment.
• Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality work and adherence to safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and report any issues or required repairs to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters and logic controllers.
• Experience in welding is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to supervise others effectively, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
