Position Summary:

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating site procurement activities including establishing pricing and driving cost savings through common platforms. This role optimizes the supply chain through systematic support and ensures that the purchase and procurement of goods support quality, cost, delivery, and service level standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Active member of the site operations team and key liaison between the enterprise and site procurement activities
  • Orchestrates all procurement related activities for the site
  • Manages procurement policies, procedures, and objectives to procure resources and supplies at the lowest total cost consistent with approved quality and delivery standards
  • Manages supplier relationships within the site, including day-to-day negotiations on conflicts, prices, deliveries and/or specifications
  • Manages compliance to agreements and scope. Manages and executes contract agreements at a local level
  • Evaluates business challenges and takes action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities
  • Ensures proper staffing to meet the needs of the department
  • Utilizes recruiting and select tools/processes to build organization talent
  • Evaluates employee performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with company policy
  • Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities
  • Creates opportunities for career growth and progression

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages a staff of buyers

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, or related field or applicable experience
  • 8 years of procurement experience within a similar industry, including a leadership role
  • Meticulously organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask; an independent and flexible problem solver who can cope positively with ambiguity while maintaining strong attention to detail and speed
  • Strong people manager and developer of people with vendor management skills
  • Exceptional and demonstrated proficiency in relationship-building and contract negotiations.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and contract management.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge RFQ process
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite or related software (PowerPoint) and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

The national pay range for this role is $85,000 to $110,000/annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program. Imagine offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, caregiver leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
