Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Implement quality control systems to meet industry standards, regulations, and customer expectations.
- Guide and mentor the Quality Assurance team to ensure high performance and collaboration.
- Oversee internal audits and coordinate external audits.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure supplier quality standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs to build skills & reinforce quality standards.
- Work directly with customers to address complaints, resolve quality issues, and provide required documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to execute quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide leadership and direction to plant quality and manufacturing teams to ensure robust standardized manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of quality programs and ensure compliance with standards.
- Foster and drive a culture of “Quality at the Source” by championing a continuous improvement approach to quality assurance.
- Communicate quality policies, strategies, and procedures through documents, presentations, and discussions.
- Implement and monitor systems for production, process, document, design, material, and supplier controls, approvals, and CAPA.
- Perform corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead teams in root cause analysis, CAPA, and FMEA to minimize product risks.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
- Interview, hire, and train direct reports; provide leadership and mentoring.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience
- Experience with ISO9001
- Experience in the Medical Device industry or highly regulated industries. (Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, etc.)
- Degree in Engineering
- Experience leading teams in a site quality setting.
- Engineering or manufacturing background with ability to understand technical models.
- Established experience in leading and solving complex problems and strategies.
- Leading culture advancement and results in technical problem solving.

- Must be self-motivated & able to perform with little supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data & provide actionable insights to teams.

- Experience in supplier and/or customer quality in a manufacturing environment
- Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Must follow and support all quality, management and corporate policies and instructions.
- Microsoft Office suite of products experience is required.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred
- Infrequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking and sitting.

Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
