Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of physicians. This role is essential in delivering effective medical support, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accurate medical records. The LPN will work in a Urgent Care setting
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patient health status.
- Maintain and update accurate medical records for all patients.
- Perform triage duties to prioritize patient care based on urgency.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications , injections and treatments as prescribed and phlebotomy.
- Assist in emergency situations with Providers
- Perform venipuncture for blood draws and other necessary tests.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness strategies
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physical examinations and assessment techniques.
- Proficient in maintaining medical records with attention to detail
- Experience in triage processes within fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of infection control practices to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus oncommunication.
- Competence in venipuncture techniques for effective blood collection.
- Ability to provide Urgent Care services.
