Responsibilities

You will:

• Seek out, register, maintain registration and compliance with several bid platforms, school districts, state departments, local municipalities and private companies
• Proactively check bid platforms, email listings and public notice websites for any possible bids
• Compile and complete necessary bid forms, spreadsheets, and fill out detailed information specific to each bid
• Track progress of all submitted bids, gather bid tabulations and analyze data for use in future submissions to see where the market, our competitors as well as our pricing falls
• Correspond with vendors to obtain deviated or contract pricing, making sure dates, items and pricing are viable for the specific bid and for Imperial Dade to obtain the business
• Organize all incoming bids, quotes and vendor communications so readily accessible for current and future business needs
• Present all potential RFPs, bid, quotes, etc. to Contracts Manager for review
• Calendar all bids by scheduling not just due dates, but any dates that pertain to gathering, completing and submitting prior to deadline
• Maintain pipeline of all submitted bids and quotes to report to Sales Manager monthly
• Review orders submitted from bids, handle new item requests and place orders when necessary
• Maintain relationships with vendors and customers throughout bid process and the school and/or fiscal year
• Complete necessary velocity reports as required by the State of Missouri and other customers
• Run a variety of reports in S2K to view purchase history, pricing, contracts
• Communicate with Imperial Dade Contracts Team to link pricing to customer and price groups, Communicate with sales representatives, customer service representatives, and Contracts manager

Qualifications

You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level experience within distribution industry
• Experience supporting a sales team
• Minimum 1 year experience within an analytical role, demonstrating expert level report analysis
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent with Microsoft Excel and other office 365 products.
