We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our busy practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients ( in person, over the phone, via digital communication), scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and managing patient records. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, warm, and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, strong sense of commitment and work ethic, be able to work self directed, and demonstrate an amazing ability to multitask with great attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and answer phone calls in a professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Check patients in and out during their visit.
- Assist with office-related tasks, i.e. filing paperwork.
- Coordinate and communicate billing and otherinquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Work in tandem with in-person employees and virtual assistants.
- Participate or lead various office projects.
- Cover for back office employees as needed.
*Fluent bilingual English/Spanish speaker not required but a huge plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
