About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager for our Security Encryption Team, responsible for supporting Atalla and Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). The ideal candidate will lead a team focused on encryption solutions, ensuring the security and efficiency of our cryptographic operations. Additionally, this role will oversee our Enterprise Key Management program, driving best practices in key management and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position also analyzes scenarios, provides solutions, and makes recommendations to protect the environment, customers, and employees.

Responsibilities
- Creates new ways to solve existing production security issues.
- Evaluates new HSM and encryption technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.
- Establishes plans and protocols to protect data and information systems against unauthorized access, modification, and/or destruction.
- Lead Enterprise Key Management (EKM) efforts working with project managers and teams within the enterprise.
- Delivers technical reports and updates on weekly activities.
- Analyzes and advises on new security technologies and program conformance.
- Maintains knowledge with current emerging technologies and advancements within Information Security and the cryptography space.
- Drive encryption initiatives and responsibility for the enterprise.
- Manage an encryption team of Security Engineers.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate data encryption related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to collaborate with all IT teams on security-related incidents, tasks, and projects.
- Ability to work productively and communicate effectively in a team environment or to a larger audience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to encryption and key management.
- Experience with all Atalla,Thales HSM platforms
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of encryption algorithms, cryptographic protocols, and hardware security modules (HSMs) such as Atalla and Thales.
- Key Management Expertise: Experience in implementing and managing Enterprise Key Management (EKM) systems, including key lifecycle management and compliance.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to lead projects, manage resources, and adhere to timelines, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze security challenges and develop effective strategies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise authentication and web security.
- Excellent understanding of the internet protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS etc.
- Knowledge on Windows as well as Linux based authentication products and services.
- Proven architectural and design experience.
- Experience with public key infrastructure (PKI).
- 4 years encryption related experience.
Education & Certifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field is preferred, but not required.
- A Certified Encryption Specialist (ECES) certification is preferred, but not required. Career development plan to include certifications upon hire.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is preferred, but not required. Career development plan to include certifications upon hire.
