Accountability and Scope
The Warehouse Associate II is accountable, under general supervision and demonstrated ability to successfully trouble shoot warehouse issues, to fill customer order requirements with strong team coordination and follow-through abilities, and to complete the full cycle of warehouse functions of picking, packing, stocking, documenting and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously; as well as drive company vehicles to transport material to and from specified locations, as licensed and trained. The Warehouse Associate II, will be responsible for locating appropriate product with a radio frequency system, when applicable; pulling required quantities and sizes (counting/weighing), and packaging and preparing material for shipment. This fast-paced position consistently requires a high volume of productivity; with strong attention to detail to variances in product identification; ability to accurately understand and follow written specifications; perform data entry; and follow customized requirements with trained knowledge of quality standards, and customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Learn, maintain and apply accurate knowledge and understanding of Wesco Warehouse work instructions, policies and procedures in all work practices and decisions
* Operate Wesco vehicle to transport material to and from specified locations, as licensed and trained
* Drive forklift and/or order picker, when certified
* Receive material from vendors and enter data in computer
* Pull or stock materials using Radio Frequency (RF) system, as required
* Obtain cross-training to assist in other Warehouse functions, as needed
* Count, bag and label per warehouse/customer requirements
* Utilize carrier and third party shipping system to ship product
* Package and prepare material for shipment
* Count and record material to ensure accuracy
* Utilize scale to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/customer specifications
* Utilize label printer to prepare labels as, needed
* Return remaining product to proper location
* Meet established standards for quality and productivity
* Follow safety regulations in all work processes
* Attend regular and impromptu departmental meetings and company training, as required

* Education
Educated to National Vocational Level (NVQ) or equivalent (EU)
High School Diploma or GED Recent, forklift certification training and current forklift license, is preferred
* Experience Minimum of two years warehousing experience in an aerospace facility or combination warehousing and training
Demonstrated ability to perform basic trouble shooting of warehouse issues
Demonstrated ability to be alert and aware of warehouse safety issues and safeguards, and applying safety standards
* Qualification
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional daily interaction with internal and/or external customers (as trained);
Ability to work well within a team environment and independently, as needed Ability to be detailed oriented and perform basic research, if required;
Ability to utilize knowledge of the integrated database systems, including Outlook, Word and Excel, as needed
