Job Brief
We are seeking a Servicing QC Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. This position will focus on creating and maintaining servicing checklists by researching, understanding, and testing to ensure compliance with federal regulations relevant to the mortgage industry, such as ECOA, HMDA, TILA, and RESPA. Equal attention will be given to state regulations, investor guidelines, and agency requirements. The SME will also serve as a key point of contact for sales and client engagement, including participation in client demos and related activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for the servicing audit product.
- Maintain expertise in applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as investor and agency guidelines, related to mortgage loan servicing.
- Create and update comprehensive servicing audit checklists to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in AllRegs, including navigation and advanced functionality.
- Review and refine current checklists to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and adapt to changes in agency/investor handbooks and federal/state regulations, updating checklists as necessary.
- Assist in researching, monitoring, and testing current processes and procedures to ensure industry compliance.
- Perform tasks and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with the client engagement and sales teams to support new client opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong understanding and keen interest in mortgage servicing quality control.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize Indecomm programs and technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated with strong multitasking skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Position Requirements
- A four-year business-related degree or equivalent experience in mortgage loan servicing functions or compliance, including but not limited to escrow analysis, bankruptcy, collections, loss mitigation, and foreclosure.
