The Forklift Driver is responsible for using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count products. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order filler and Checker duties.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS
1. All employees shall meet Compliance/Privacy Regulations and attend at a minimum one (1) hour of Compliance/Privacy educational training annually, as required by Independent Living Systems.
2. All employees shall meet Risk Management Regulations and attend at the minimum one (1) hour of Risk Management education and training within the first thirty (30) days of employment and as required by law or Independent Living Systems; and, for that non-physician in clinical or direct care delivery services, annually thereafter.
3. All employees if duly licensed in the State of employment, and said license is part of the requirement of their position with Independent Living Systems, shall maintain in good standing and current state licensure.
4. All employees are required to maintain confidentiality, protect privacy, comply with PHI regulations, and report violations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY
• Transport merchandise from the receiving dock or reserve slots to the proper location in the warehouse. Complete purchase orders.
• Maintain the proper replenishment in the computer, using a handheld device when the pallet is put back in the rack.
• Stack cases and rotate merchandise. Refill benches and fill pallet slots.
• Pull material/products to deliver to production lines.
• Move/Slot finished product from production to the designated storage area.
• Pull finished product from storage and load on trucks.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, pack size, and description.
• Unload material/product from trucks.
• Complete paperwork on the transfer of material Date pallets with the current date
• Complete inspection form on equipment operated.
• Change battery in forklift, when applicable.
• Clean spills and re-work damage.
• Use case cutter to cut tops off cases.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education / Experience:
• OSHA Forklift Certification
• Within 90 days of employment must take the OSHA Safety Training Course
• Ability to work well with others, including but not limited to staff, clients, members, and the public.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

TRAVEL:
This position requires up to 20% travel. Frequently travel is in the local area.

This position may require work more than 40 hours per week and will require some evening and weekend work hours. Must be willing to travel independently with occasional overnight travel.
