Position Description
Position: Member Management Assistant
Responsible to: Business Services & Member Management
Hours: 38 per week
7:30am – 4pm Monday Thru Thursday.
8-2pm Friday
Overview: To support the Membership Management team in processing
and other general business needs.
General Skills Set Required:
The new
hire needs to be an organized team player, attentive to Member needs, and have
strong & ethical follow-through. Must be versatile in communication style
to work with Members, Reps & corporate events.
Technical Set Required:
Technical
applications include Windows, Access, Office Suite, and general technical
knowledge. Strong ability to multi-task between answering the phone.
Organizational Skills Set
Required:
Strong
organizational skills desired. Must be able to organize both paper and
electronic files, correspond with Members and Reps, and prepare light reports.
May serve as an initial point of contact. Must be able to plan, prioritize and
to set and achieve goals.
Core Duties &
Responsibilities
The core duties and responsibilities of a Member
Management Assistant revolve around supporting other team members. Processing
applications, Expense Reports as requested, follow up phone calls to potential
& current Members, answer the general phones, return calls left on the
answering service as requested, and other duties as deemed necessary for
general business needs. Job duties can
vary based on company need.

The Member Management Assistant must exhibit many varied skills and
qualifications. At the core, the Administrative Assistant is a support
position, meaning that communications and decision-making are paramount. Here
are a few specific skills:

Decision Making – Have the ability to make
independent decisions daily and address the best way to handle specific tasks.

Collaborate with other team members, support staff, management, Members and
Reps on a regular basis.

determine which tasks need to take priority.

punctuation, basic math and writing are essential skills to have. Writing
