Position Title: Database Developer
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Washington, DC

Position Overview:
Indev is seeking a Database Developer to join our elite team of low-code aficionados. As the DB, you will play a pivotal role performing the data migration of a portfolio of legacy applications into primarily Microsoft PowerApps. Your experience and expertise will be crucial with determining the scope, developing a data migration plan and performing the migration into the new system, all while embracing the Agile mindset to foster innovation and rapid adaptation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Government to identify the scope of data that is to be migrated from the legacy application to the new application.
- Develop a plan to migrate legacy data into the new applications.
- Perform data migration to ensure that the new application's production availability is seamlessly synchronized with data availability.
- Ensure best security practices are enforced throughout the migration lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
- Six years of experience of which two must be specialized.
- Certification is not required; however, Database and Security Certifications are a plus.
- Experience with database management, application development, and cloud computing (Azure).
- Proficient with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
- Adept at creating data models from requirements and migrating legacy databases into the new models
- Language knowledge with SQL, Python, Java, and PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills to work seamlessly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Federal environment, preferably Department of Transportation
- Active Public Trust clearance
- Prior experience supporting Microsoft PowerApps projects
Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge. Will be required to pass a government background investigation.
