What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Videographer position at Indiana Center for Recovery?
Indiana Center for Recovery (ICFR) seeks a skilled and motivated videographer to produce compelling video content for social media web and other marketing videos as needed. This is an on-site contract position. ICFR offers access to high-end studio equipment such as two Sony A7iii, an 85mm, 55mm, 35mm, and a full frame, as well as lighting equipment or you can use your own equipment. Expect to work 20 to 25 hours per week. The role has the potential to transition into a permanent position.

What You’ll Do
- Film & edit engaging videos for social media that align with ICFR’s mission and brand.
- Use DaVinci Resolve to edit videos with a high level of quality and creativity.
- Incorporate graphics and motion design elements to enhance storytelling.
- Set up lighting, cameras, and audio equipment for professional video shoots.
- Work primarily in Bloomington, IN, with occasional travel to other in-state ICFR facilities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative video concepts.
- Manage deadlines efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Handle feedback with professionalism and tact, adapting to evolving project needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in videography, editing, and creating social media content.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and experience with motion graphics.
- Strong knowledge of lighting techniques for interviews and promotional content.
- Self-starter mindset – able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for composition and pacing.
- Experience with professional studio equipment (provided as needed).
