Responsibilities For The Personal Lines Assistant Underwriter
- Ability to effectively communicate (listening and speaking) and provide excellent, positive customer service
- Thorough and detail oriented, with strong time management, organization and efficiency
- Gathering and compiling any additional information necessary to assist in determining if insurance will be approved
- Determining whether new business, changes, renewals and canceled policies qualify for coverage, renewal or reinstatement within guidelines; and then processing them accordingly
- Confidently communicating via phone, in writing and in person with agents, insureds, colleagues and other outside contacts
