Indigo IT’s Marketing and Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in creating, driving and managing strategic content to audiences both internal and external to the organization. Partnering with various departments across the company, this individual will be responsible for targeted marketing and messaging campaigns in support of Indigo’s recruiting, business development, branding and internal communications efforts, including corporate and industry related awards and PR opportunities. The Marketing and Administrative Coordinator will also assist in the execution of company functions, such as volunteer and philanthropy activities, annual parties, and other corporate events. This is a part-time position; the ideal candidate will work approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours when supporting major projects/deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the development and creation of all Indigo IT marketing and communications related efforts.
  • Oversee updates for Indigo IT’s Intranet site and website.
  • Develop strategic content for all corporate social media accounts, including but not limited to: LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Manage Indigo IT’s quarterly employee newsletter: coordinate and author content, format/edit document, plan and execute newsletter release, etc.
  • Assist in planning team and company events, annual Holiday Party, Company picnic, virtual social hours, etc.
  • Research and submit the company for relevant industry related awards and PR opportunities.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team’s recruiting efforts via social media updates, internal job alert emails, and marketing materials for use at external hiring events.
  • Develop case studies and customer testimonials to showcase Indigo IT’s service offerings and help drive/attract new business.
  • Manage relationships with marketing related external vendors and suppliers.
  • Spearhead Indigo IT’s corporate philanthropy mission and coordinate volunteer opportunities for employees.
  • Provide proactive administrative and coordination support for multiple teams at company HQ.
  • Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Recent college graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ professional experience in a corporate marketing/administration role.
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours when supporting major projects/deadlines.
  • Experience managing, updating and creating custom content for corporate social media accounts and website profiles/pages to include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Glassdoor, and really.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences both internal and external to the company.
  • Detail Oriented; ability to multitask and still maintain a sharp eye for detail with the ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Professional experience with photo and document editing tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and Acrobat.
  • Technically savvy with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite; as well as, experience with email marketing tools like GetResponse, Mailchimp and Constant Contact.
  • Time management skills and task oriented; must be able to meet deadlines and successfully juggle multiple projects.
  • Independent self-starter and go-getter; someone who can identify needs, takes the initiative to execute accordingly and self-manage.
  • Must be a “people person” who is able to work with and effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization and represent the company at industry events and functions.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and the IT services industry is a plus.
