This position is on-site at Fort Bragg, NC and supports cybersecurity to protect and defend U.S. Army networks by ensuring the availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation of the systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure all networks, systems, and devices are correctly configured for optimal security.
  • Ensure security of the networks or report discrepancies with recommended solutions.
  • Monitor/scan and confirm security patches are installed into system design; meet timelines and track non-compliant devices for quarantine.
  • Recommend solutions to improve customer Scorecard.
  • Conduct process and security reviews, technical audits, and assessments for all customer networks and provide weekly reports.
  • Review and provide guidance for the compliance assessment program.
  • Analyze reports from scanning and monitoring systems to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate and report services quality (i.e., ticket and scan requests).
  • Collaborate with working groups, including CIRT, to resolve all security incidents.
  • Work with teams to complete day-to-day configuration and maintenance activities on USARC networks.
  • Monitor, identify, and assess network vulnerabilities.
  • Track and complete automated assigned trouble tickets.
  • Work with network teams when installing or removing any hardware.
  • Ensure personnel who need network access have approved training and compliance.
  • Provide support for access to all networks, including issuing, configuring, and tracking tokens.
  • Assist reporting requirements.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree and 10 years' experience OR Bachelor's degree and 12 years' experience OR A.A. degree and 14 years' experience OR more than 16 years' experience
  • Active Secret clearance REQUIRED
  • Active CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, or CCISO certification(s) REQUIRED
