As a Senior Packaging Graphic Designer, you are responsible for crafting creative solutions to packaging challenges ranging from individual new products, to line extensions, to high level strategy concepts. You will play an active role in our internal Design Team and participate in regular design reviews. We are looking for a thought leader that translates their creative energy into compelling packaging designs.

Job Description

The Role:

Prime Brands Group is currently seeking a Senior Packaging Graphic Designer with an outstanding design portfolio and deep experience and understanding of packaging design and consumer experience. As a Senior Packaging Graphic Designer, you are responsible for crafting creative solutions to packaging challenges ranging from individual new products, to line extensions, to high level strategy concepts. You will play an active role in our internal Design Team and participate in regular design reviews. We are looking for a thought leader that translates their creative energy into compelling packaging designs.

In This Role You Will:

• Participate in all phases of the packaging design thinking process from conceptual, to strategic, to tactical, to implementation.
• Craft beautiful details, while keeping the bigger picture in mind, and vice versa.
• Collaborate with and inspire Business and Marketing Leads.
• Provide team leadership with the ability to complete projects with little support.
• Work closely with other designers, challenging each other to drive better design work.
• Occasionally travel overnight nationally and internationally.
  
  

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Lives, breathes, and loves design
• 8 years of relevant experience in Graphic Design, ideally in packaging at a consumer products company.
• Exhibit deep packaging graphic design craft skills
• Understanding of user-centered design methods and techniques
• Strong portfolio of cutting edge design that proves not only solid design skills but forward thinking
• Experience defining print specifications and finishes
• Excellent computer skills including Illustrator, Photoshop, Powerpoint and Slides
• Highly driven and proactive self-starter - taking on a task without much context and driving it through
• Believes in collaboration in a multi-disciplinary design environment – not waterfall
• Excellent communication skills in sharing your design thinking, presenting to all levels of co-workers

In Addition, Preferable Skills And Behaviors Include:

• Consumer electronics packaging experience, demonstrated in portfolio
• Optimistic outlook - we are creating the future after all
• Experience in working with 3D files and renderings is a huge plus.
  
  

Education:

• Requires a BS in Graphic Design or a related degree from an accredited college or university or
  
  

equivalent experience

• ON SITE work is REQUIRED. ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE CAPABLE AND WILLING TO WORK ON SITE , FULL TIME.
