Assistant Facilities Manager

Description

1. Cleaning – meet with vendor(s), evaluate performance, and generate a maintenance schedule for floors, windows, and other items.
2. HVAC – sources maintenance company and conducts follow up.
3. Plumbing – identifies open issues, sources maintenance company. 
4. Electrical – stock and maintain all bulbs within facilities.
5. Keys – maintains all keys, swipe access cards, manage all keys in key cabinet.
6. Software Technologies – contracts for maintenance, if necessary, all DVD recording, cameras, ingress and egress of IPU, including exterior doors.
7. Maintain network availability for the facilities.
8. Manage contractors and schedule routine maintenance (filters, pest control, cleaners, landscapers, fire alarm inspection, fire sprinkler monitoring, sprinkler system testing, trash and medical waste).
9. Maintain network availability for the facilities.

11. Warranty items.
12. Alarm system.
13. Maintenance and janitorial requests.
14. Transport documents and equipment to offsite storage facility.
15. Other duties as assigned.

    Work Requirements:

1. Must be able to work in assigned facilities with moderate noise levels and changing working conditions. May require the use of safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as needed.
2. Must maintain a satisfactory driving record
3. Must be able to safely set up and work off ladders.
4. Must be able to individually lift 50-100 lbs. without assistance.

Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

A High School diploma is required.

Bachelor’s degree and/or trade school is preferred.

Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems.

Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks.

Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

General handyman projects (construction, painting, door and window repair, etc.).

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Good driving record.

Salary : $25 - $30
