Location : Houston, Texas(Hybrid, 3-4 days in office )
Need only local to Texas
Relocation is must from day 1 onwards
Experience: 8 Years
Duration: Longterm contract
Testing Web Applications, Developing Automation Tests and working in Agile Dev Ops Environment
Roles and Responsibilities
- Working with Product Owners and development teams to test and optimize Web applications in Agile Environment
- Developing automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Developing APT test scripts and testing API s using Postman.
- Developing Test Automation scripts using Java Script
- Conducting Performance tests using JMeter
- Working with a variety of databases and coding programs, such as Java, Java Script, HTML, Oracle, MongoDB as well as XML and JSON feeds.
- Producing clear and concise test reports and releasing notes to co-workers when needed.
- Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues.
- Suggesting new processes and policies to improve mobile testing techniques.
Web QA Tester skillset requirement:
- Bachelors in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a similar degree.
- At least Five years' experience in various web application testing and Automation Scripts development.
- 5 years of experience in Automation Tools such as Selenium or Cypress or Standard Automation programming tools
- 5 years of experience in developing automated test scripts and building test automation framework using Selenium/Cypress
- Working knowledge of full-scale web applications with back-end Integration in Agile Test Environment
- Working experience in developing API scripts/automation of API scripts using Postman or other API tools
- 3-5 years of experience in Test Data collection and DB tools like MongoDB.
- Experience in using configuration management/test management or version control tools like ADO, Jira.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using JMeter and conducting Performance testing is Plus.
- Knowledge on Monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in working with offshore team members. - Energy (Electric/Gas) domain experience preferred
