About the Role
Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) has a need for a professional to join our organization as an entry level Intelligence Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing data from various sources in support of global monitoring and analysis of threats to our client and their personnel/travelers and assets in all countries of operation. This position will work as part of a team to ensure the Global Watch Desk is staffed 24/7. This position will be in Rahway, New Jersey, with a major Fortune 100 client.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather data from various sources, including open-source material, intelligence reports, surveillance, and other relevant platforms.
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that could impact operations, security, or strategy.
- Distill complex information into clear, actional insights.
- Prepare detailed intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for senior staff, stakeholder, or decision-makers.
- Identify and assess potential threats, risks, or vulnerabilities, and advise on preventive or corrective measures.
- Stay updated on geopolitical, technological, or industry-specific developments that could affect security, operations or market conditions.
- Ensure all intelligence work is conducted in compliance with legal, ethical and security protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years related experience
- Physical Requirements: Sitting for up to eight (8) hours per day in an office type setting
- Academic or practical experience with risk intelligence analysis and threat
- Demonstrated knowledge of international affairs and security environments in overseas environments, with a willingness to develop specialized understanding.
- Proven ability to write effectively and professionally in clear, concise English (American or British).
- Demonstrated proficiency in various Microsoft Office applications, to include Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Proven ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate a given security issue or environment, and understand when a situation is escalating
- Fluency and comfort with verbal communications
- Able to cope with stressful situations, with a calm, business-like demeanor, and a logical thinker
- Ability and willingness to work shift/rotation based schedules outside normal business hours with the ability to work independently at times based on shift
- Ability to work in and maintain confidentiality.
- Position may require work outside of core business hours, including but not limited to before shift, after shift, nights and/or weekend hours.
- Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly changing work environment.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check process.
- Valid state issued driver's license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit for extended period of time working in an office environment.
