Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Paper-converting Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns
- Oversee machine helper as they inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
- Read and interpret job tickets
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and ruler
-Conduct job-specific paperwork and record keeping in an organized and clear manner
-Keep machine running efficiently with minimal downtime, getting assistance from machine helper
- Handle materials and supplies in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Familiarity with web-tension, perforations, glue placement, window and label materials tipped onto the moving web, proper cut-off and special die-cut options - experience a PLUS.
-good attendance with prior manufacturing experience required.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
