We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work with the software development team and provide support for production applications. The business analyst will work with the team to understand client requirements, document them, and communicate them to the project team. They will also assist with production monitoring and support of applications built by the team.

The Business Analyst would be responsible for following the entire product/software lifecycle from design to test and implementation in coordination with the Project Manager. The position would consist of working on multiple web-based applications, services or features. The candidate will interact and coordinate with multiple teams (client, product management, internal design & development teams). The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, along with having strong communication and team skills to execute projects with demanding deadline expectations.

The Role:

• Consults with customers and internal project team members to analyze and understand the needs of the current application or project. Responsible for understanding the big picture of how the application/feature will integrate with the overall goals of the business and project, along with providing ideas and recommendations on how to evolve the application/feature over time.
• Responsible for understanding and documenting all the inputs, processes and outputs necessary to develop a specific application/feature. Conducts research and analysis of how the processes and data inputs will impact the individual application/feature or larger infrastructure
• Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and use cases.
• Coordinates and or performs testing of applications/features including unit, assembly and regression.
• Ensures current and accurate system documentation for all application/feature
• Develops, provides, or coordinates application training, educational tools and materials.
• Responsible for helping scope project work in conjunction with the development and project management teams.
• Monitors, analyzes and provides reporting on the performance of specific applications/features. Could include data sampling, review of requirements, metric evaluation, testing validation.
• Responsible for helping to develop, build and document internal processes and procedures.
• Participates in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge.
  
  

Required skills:

• Minimum of 4 years experience within business operations or systems development in a cloud environment, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiar with agile development methodologies
• High level of computer literacy with office tools or equivalents (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO or other graphic software).
• Expertise with SQL, relational databases, etc.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proven communication skills - Oral, written, listening.
• Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, facilitate, and organize.
• Strong interpersonal and motivation skills.
• Experience working with multiple teams
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to perform in an unstructured or fast moving start up type environment
  
  

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation

$90,000—$110,000 USD
