What You’ll Do as a Senior Systems Engineer
In this role, you’ll lead the charge in designing, developing, and delivering advanced electro-mechanical systems. Your work will be critical to the success of the program, and your expertise will drive innovation at every stage. Here’s a glimpse into your day-to-day responsibilities :
- Architect the Future : Design overall electro-mechanical system architectures, system specifications, and upper-level design descriptions.
- Own the Integration : Define critical interfaces between subsystems and lead teams to integrate sophisticated software-driven electro-mechanical devices.
- Test & Validate : Develop system-level test strategies, specifications, and protocols.
- Risk Mitigation : Perform hazards analysis, failure modes analysis, and design solutions to mitigate risks.
- Drive Excellence : Support program management in achieving design goals related to cost, size, durability, manufacturability, and serviceability.
- Plan & Estimate : Contribute to project planning by accurately estimating design task efforts.
- Guide Manufacturing : Provide input on manufacturing process development, PFMEA review, and test criteria.
What You Bring to the Table
Education & Experience :
MS / BS in Engineering with 5–10 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design.
Technical Prowess :
Strong technical leadership skills and a history of inventive problem-solving.
Innovative Mindset :
Experience with first-generation product development, ideally in the medical device market.
Added Bonuses :
Knowledge of manufacturing processes or disposable product development is a plus.
