Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Observe and report any significant changes in the client’s health status to the healthcare team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living space.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring clients safely when necessary.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred.
- Knowledge of basic patient observation techniques and CPR certification is a plus.
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety protocols.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for client assistance.
- Valid certification or training as a Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
