Position Summary
As the CCS Program Manager, you’ll play a key role in launching a new program in Eau Claire, supporting individuals with severe mental health challenges and/or substance dependency. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage DHS 36 compliance, scheduling, and staff, and help clients build positive relationships and essential coping skills.
Initially, you’ll work on the floor as a Mental Health Technician, transitioning into full Program Manager responsibilities as the program expands. You’ll lead a team of Mental Health Technicians ensuring program compliance with DHS 36 regulations and company policies.
The starting wage for this position is $20.00 per hour with a higher wage offered for candidates with a qualifying Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
The initial hours may vary as the program grows but would transition into a primarily 1st with night, weekend, and on call responsibilities. Must be available on a 24-hour basis, via phone or in person as needed to support program needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations and provide supervision for the CCS program and Mental Health Technicians
- Ensure program compliance with DHS 36 regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the CCS Service Coordinator for efficient billing and budget management.
- Offer training and support to staff to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
- Manage scheduling for clients and staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Fill in as a Mental Health Technician, offering direct client support as needed.
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet program needs.
- Conduct program meetings, oversee performance appraisals, and resolve team challenges.
- Engage in clinical supervision with our Mental Health Professional to uphold best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years of experience working with individuals facing severe mental health challenges or similar populations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous supervisory experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics
- Effective time management in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of mental health care, psychotropic medications, and emergency protocols
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and foster staff professional growth
Working Conditions
This position involves a blend of office and community-based work environments. Local travel is required, with occasional extended travel and overnights.
