Job Description: The Project Manager’s primary responsibilities encompass ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and scope-conforming delivery of projects. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring that project objectives are met and that all team members perform their duties effectively. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, implementation, tracking, execution, control, and completion of projects. These projects have a defined beginning and end, with specified deliverables. The Project Manager ensures that projects align with the company’s strategy, commitments, and goals. One essential responsibility of the Project Manager is planning. This involves determining the necessary tasks, assigning responsibilities, and setting deadlines. Planning is an iterative process that occurs throughout the project’s lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities: Negotiate, buyout, and manage all subcontracts Prepare, review, and manage contracts, submittals, RFI’s, and change orders Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget Coordinate, plan, and manage subcontractor schedules, as well as an overall project schedule Ability to maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and staff Work closely with the pre-construction and business development team to locate, analyze, and pursue new opportunities Have a thorough knowledge of construction procedures and sequence Have a thorough knowledge of estimating techniques and subcontractor buy-outs
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 Years Experience In Commercial Estimating/project Management Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Vast knowledge of MEP trades is a plus Have excellent computer skills. (MS Office, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)Be self-motivated with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines Have good verbal and written communication skills Be well organized Live locally; no relocation assistance is provided Be able to lift 25 pound We are an equal opportunity employer.
