Job Description:
As the General Manager, you will develop and set key performance goals and manage staff performance, create and implement strategies for business growth, manage the recruitment and training processes, work closely with marketing, sales, and operational staff to improve efficiency, ensure customer satisfaction, identify efficiencies and areas for improvement, oversee large projects and monitor key accounts, and monitor financial health.
This is a hybrid position, with attendance required at a weekly all-hands meeting at the headquarters in Glen Burnie, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Metrics & Goal Setting
Set and measure key performance metrics for business and individual contributors.
Manage Recruitment, Training & Development
Oversee growth of the team including recruitment, training processes, and professional development and education.
Financial Management
Manage company financials, ensuring that budgets are met, and monitor the financial health, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure cohesive efforts across the organization.
Operational Optimization & Process Improvement
Oversee and optimize operational and business processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for increased efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business management, preferably in the environmental, construction, or property management industries.
- Self-motivated and curious with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Team player willing to expand role with company growth.
- Experience in financial management with a particular focus on cash flow.
- Experience with Monday Work OS preferred.
- MBA preferred.
