Summary of Purpose / Full Summary Description Notes:
With minimal supervision, this role performs the identification, analysis, documentation and translation of stakeholder requirements to support building applications and business end users to set expectations for delivery of strategic initiatives. This individual is responsible for the performance of application portfolio management and lifecycle management of the application portfolio. The Senior Enterprise Business Analyst serves as a liaison between IT and INPO leadership providing insights and counsel on application portfolios. Assists with leading large project efforts.
Essential Functions
- Develops deep understanding of the organization’s business capabilities, processes, data, business rules, systems/applications, and people (stakeholders) that support these capabilities
- Maintains deep knowledge of currently deployed applications and integrations along with business utilization of systems. Identify areas for data capture, process improvement, automation, and help streamline to increase efficiency and decision making
- Analyzes and re-engineers business processes, utilizing an understanding of business problems and solutions as they relate to complex current and future business environments, in support of strategic initiatives
- Communicates and collaborates with stakeholders to elicit detailed complex business requirements using a variety of advanced understanding of techniques, including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process workflows, value stream mapping, wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, data analysis, reporting, and use case scenarios
- Ensures all requirements including complex requirements are documented, analyzed, understood, agreed to by the stakeholders and the development team
- Assists with Quality Assurance Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Serves as product owner or proxy product owner, backlog grooming for prioritization and ranking based on business needs
- Leads project efforts
- Serves as the senior expert responsible for managing the development of advanced functional design specifications and drive the design practices and procedures for the application
- Proposes solution architecture and design to technical leads utilizing development background
- Develops architectural level diagrams
- Manages multiple complex industry facing applications simultaneously, performing a variety of tasks to deliver more value to INPO's members
- Serves as knowledge transfer (KT) mentor. Develops lesson plans and skills development plans
- Leads efforts with organizational change management, business transition management, and records/information management
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Licenses, and Certifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, project management, business, or related field
- CBAP, CCMP, BRMP, IIBA - Certification of Business Data Analytics, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSOP); Six Sigma Lean or Green Belt; CBATL; CSM; PMP
Experience
Required
- Five or more years of professional work experience
- Three or more years of experience in business analysis, business architecture, strategic program management, enterprise transformation efforts, or project management experience
- Three or more years of experience working with technology and the software development lifecycle
Preferred
- Five or more years of experience championing organizational change, such as leading initiatives, products, services, or interactions within the technology field
- Seven or more years of experience working with technology and the software development lifecycle
- Five or more years' experience in managing or leading cross-functional projects/initiatives
