JOB DESCRIPTION
A large automotive company is looking to partner with a Technical Writer to join their Infrastructure and Application team. This person will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation that details all the applications (10 applications consisting of proprietary apps and out of the box applications) and infrastructure architectures. This role is crucial for ensuring that the technical processes and systems are well-documented, accessible, and easy to understand for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In addition, they will be in charge of incident management and help communicate and document all incidents for the team.
REQUIREMENTS
5 years of experience as a technical writer
Previous experience documenting infrastructure architecture as well as applications
Proficient in Visio Experience using a document repository such as Confluence and SharePoint Required to be onsite 3 days onsite a week - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
NICE TO HAVE (not required)
Experience documenting incidents - incident management
Compensation:
$50-65hr (depending on years of experience)
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
