Bradford Consolidation Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager (OM) to supervise team members, make decisions, and provide excellent customer service at our warehouse, which serves our San Bruno campus. The successful candidate will manage operations at our receiving and redistribution dock and supplier and customer relationships. A strong work ethic, initiative, and drive to build and maintain a world-class team are a must. To thrive as an Operations Manager, you should have:
- An associate degree in a relevant field is preferred; however, directly related experience may offset the educational requirement.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, focusing on team leadership and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing employee teams, including coaching, performance improvement, and executing action plans to meet short- and long-term operational targets.
- Proficiency in word processing, email, database management, and internet software, along with excellent written and oral communication skills for reporting and team coordination.
- Ability to lift to 75 pounds occasionally, pass a security background check, maintain a valid driver’s license, and successfully complete drug and alcohol testing.
Your responsibilities as an Operations Manager will include:
- Train and ensure employees adhere to all procedures and regulations BCL, customers, and other stakeholders set while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Provide hands-on leadership in a physically demanding environment, fostering a motivated, professional, and customer-focused team aligned with BCL’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision.
- Interact with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to optimize operational performance, ensure quality control standards, and execute daily distribution objectives.
- Identify and resolve operational and maintenance issues to prevent delays, minimize costs, and enhance efficiency, safety, and performance.
- Manage scheduling, enforce company policies fairly, oversee opening and closing procedures, and meet all labor, quality, and delivery commitments.
