SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview: A network of group practices is seeking several Clincial Supervisors. Supervisors are responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical staff at their designated location through remote supervision. The supervisor will provide clinical supervision or consultation as needed to clinicians at their location, support clinicians in following policies and procedures, and promote a positive work culture at their location. The supervisor must have a positive and supportive approach towards the company, its employees and clients. This is a part-time position requiring less than 10 hours of work per week. Supervisors must be credentialed with at least Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Healthcare.

Reports to: The owner of the company
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee clinicians at designated location.
- Hold interviews with candidates for employment as requested to by owner.
- Communicate/coordinate with Owner when new clinicians are hired.
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures a Supervisor and clinician (if applicable).
- Be proactive and responsible in holding clinicians accountable in note content and timeliness, marketing/blogging (if applicable), and overall performance of their job duties via in person informal check ins.
- Check in monthly as a group with other Supervisors and Clinical Director (owner) regarding processes and/or procedures, including proposed changes, clinical issues and successes.
- As needed, provide formal case consultation to fully licensed clinicians at 50 minute intervals.
- If applicable provide formal supervision in 1-hour intervals to provisionally licensed clinicians.
· Manages their clinical team and provides accountability, performance evaluation, hiring and structuring of the clinical team.
· Proactively work towards improving the practice’s client experience and ensure client satisfaction by way of supervising clinicians.
· Collaborate with the Clinical Director and managers on improving overall client and employee experience.
- Ability to identify areas where we need improvement clinically and in client experience and initiate the improvement measures.
- Stay highly organized.

- Ability to handle and provide straight-forward feedback to leadership and clinical team members.
- Be a problem solver and think ahead to ensure any challenges don’t greatly impact progress or outcomes for clients.
- Other supervisory/related duties as may be assigned.
