What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS?
IHCS is a Community Behavioral Health Clinic and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Social Worker or Registered Mental Health/Social Worker Intern with at least three years of experience in mental health and substance abuse evaluations. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and writing skills, along with a commitment to supporting individuals with trauma. Applicants with a background working with veterans will be given serious consideration.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance abuse evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs
- Utilize trauma-informed care approaches in supporting clients through treatment and recovery
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress
- Stay up-to-date with best practices through professional development
**Qualifications:**
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Registered Mental Health/Social Worker Intern
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with mental health and substance abuse evaluations
- Experience working with individuals affected by trauma; experience with veterans preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

$55,000 - $70,000 per year (based on licensure and years of experience)
