- Property Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and renovations, working with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and high operational standards.
- Tenant Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to address concerns, answer inquiries, and ensure lease compliance.
- Handle tenant requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage budgets for each property, ensuring optimal financial performance.
- Oversee rent collections, lease renewals, and financial reporting for property portfolios.
- Lease Administration:
- Manage lease agreements, ensure proper documentation, and track lease expirations.
- Assist with lease negotiations and renewals as necessary.
- Travel:
- Visit properties outside the Kansas City area approximately once a month for inspections, tenant meetings, or project management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial property management.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, building systems, and lease administration.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and tools is a plus.
- Ability to travel periodically to property locations outside Kansas City.
