MINIMUM 3 YEARS DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN CLASS A.
Intela Staffing is looking to fill a OTR Driver role in the city of Nevada to travel for a distributor of power generators.
Schedule of the Driver: 7:00am start, plan to work 10-11hrs.
Saturdays upon request, if available
Responsibilities of the Driver:
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods and materials to destinations.
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance and repairs, including checking fluids, tires, brakes, and lights.
- Load and unload cargo in a secure and efficient manner, adhering to proper handling and storage procedures.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including hours-of-service rules and weight restrictions.
- Plan routes and adapt them as necessary to avoid traffic, road construction, and other delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Qualifications:
- Must pass Background Check.
- Must pass Drug Screening.
- Proven experience as an over-the-road truck driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- 3 plus years of experience is a must.
- Forklift Certified a plus but will certify in house if needed.
- Willing to help in the warehouse when not driving.
- Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
