MINIMUM 1-2 YEARS OF POLISHER EXPERIENCE.
Intela Staffing is looking to fill a Polisher position for a Luxury Drains manufacturer in the city of Huntington Beach, CA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 2:00pm – 11:00pm.
Saturdays upon request.
Responsibilities:
- Sandblasting with the use of high-pressure air equipment to clean and prepare surfaces such as brass or other types of metals.
- When sandblasting, manually direct nozzle over surface of large parts or inserts arms through glove-fitted cabinet openings and manipulates small parts under nozzle for specified interval.
- Metal polishers and stainers use polishing lathe machines on metal surfaces to correct defects, smooth, satin and prepare surfaces and polish materials.
- Metal plating and living finish application utilizes various chemical solutions to achieve a desired color or finish.

This involves racking or wiring of parts, dipping parts in chemical baths and rinse tanks, drying parts with forced air and cleaning or waxing the finished product to obtain the desired results.
- Electro-stripping involves removing the outer chrome plated layer to expose the underlaying bright nickel finish. This is achieved by racking parts and dipping them in electrically charged chemical baths, rinsing and drying.
Qualifications:
- Must pass background check.
- Must be able to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, persistence.
- Visual examination of finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Attention to detail and quality of finished product.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Experience as a Manufacturing Technician, Machine Operator, Material Coordinator, Shipping and Receiving Clerk is a PLUS**
