What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Manager, Content Marketing Services position at InterContinental Hotels Group?
The Associate Manager, Content Marketing Services plays a key role in supporting the Field Marketing team by executing various content marketing initiatives. This includes managing Enhanced Websites and implementing effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies. The position is focused on enhancing our digital presence and driving engagement through targeted content marketing efforts.
Your day to day
- Works collaboratively with internal and external teams, including Field Marketing Advisory Services managers, copywriters, developers, designers and agency partners.
- Review and implement content developed by external partners in our enterprise content management system, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and create, activate and maintain hotel websites.
- Manage intake of content requests and execute updates to content and photography on hotel websites. Light copywriting may be required.
- Optimizes on-page elements such as title tags and meta descriptions, and executes updates across hotel listing platforms
- Clear understanding of SEO strategy and localization, reviewing content developed by external partners and confirming multiple brands’ tones of voice
- Benchmark digital activities against those of our peers in the industry; improve content marketing strategy and tactics.
- Maintain & track daily tasks and status updates according to IHG processes and support development of process enhancements.
What we need from you
- Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise content management system
- 2 - 5 years relevant experience in digital marketing, including website content management, field marketing, channel management, and SEO.
- Travel and/or Hotel Industry experience preferred.
- Understanding of hotel industry, particularly in digital marketing
- Familiar with digital marketing best practices, trends, and tools.
- General knowledge of SEO strategy and localization.
Location - Hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $46,226 to $70,000 This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
