What You'll Do :

In the Clinical Outreach Manager position you’ll will oversee the operations of Oceanside Social Work and Homeless Outreach Team, Carlsbad Homeless Outreach Team and Escondido Homeless Outreach. This position is responsible for program administration, clinical operations, service delivery, program compliance, and supervision of staff.

  • Collaborates with city staff, law enforcement, other Interfaith programs, partnering organizations, and the Alliance for Regional Solutions Bridge Housing Network to address the issue of homelessness
  • Supervises and monitors staff job performance, complete performance evaluations, ensures on-going staff training and development, and participates in the hiring of staff for department; ensures clinicians provide comprehensive case management services to homeless clients
  • Identifies client barriers to mental health, housing, substance abuse, and community referrals and develops long-term support plans to ensure previously homeless residents maintain housing and continue to achieve other personalized goals
  • Performs periodic reviews of staff’s assessments, case plans, progress notes, documentation, and outcomes as appropriate
  • Researches, recommends and implements best workplace and clinical practices
  • Provides operational statistics for the agency and community partners and ensures timely and accurate data
  • Ensures compliance with program goals / objectives and reporting pursuant to grants and contracts for departmental programs; help develop metrics for program accountability and success
  • Works with other members of the management team to ensure successful communication and coordination between all programs, and participates in strategic planning
  • Serves as Interfaith’s liaison with other health and human service agencies, both public and private; act as an ambassador of Interfaith to the community, government agencies and others
  • Facilitates case management meetings, staff meetings, and community trainings
  • Facilitates and maintains community relationships to create referral pathways for program participants into Interfaith and community-based programs
  • Continuously monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; access and monitor workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships; identifies opportunities for improvement, facilitates the implementation of changes
  • Develops and manages a comprehensive outreach / working relationship with all stakeholders, elected officials and staff, commercial and private community activists, and clients
  • Assist the team with administrative tasks as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements : Who You Are :

You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness. To thrive in this role, you'll :

  • Master's Degree. required
  • Must be currently licensed by the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), required
  • 2 years of experience working in a Social Services, Nonprofit or related setting , required
  • 2 years of experience working with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, and homeless population, required
  • 1 year of management experience, preferred
  • SKILLSETS / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients
  • Knowledge of programs contractual requirements and compliance measures
  • Knowledge of the principles and best practices of clinical treatment and service delivery
  • Ability to analyze data and determine the applicability of data, to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations Ability to supervise, including planning and assigning work according to the nature of the job to be accomplished, assess the capabilities of supervisees and available resources
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of homelessness prevention, intervention, treatment, and support
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple deadlines and working effectively under pressure, using independent judgment to produce quality work under time constraints
  • Demonstrated experience working with a collaborative team
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively among a diverse workforce population and maintain sound working relations with all levels within the organization
  • Work with spirit of enthusiasm, teamwork, cooperation and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality over all matters in the course of business operations including client and employee information
  • Ability to multi-task in an efficient, thorough, and prioritized manner
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently

  • WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to perform work in a climate-controlled office setting
  • May be subjected to adverse conditions, including contact from hostile people
  • Exposure to contagious diseases (hepatitis, HIV, tuberculous, etc.)
  • Exposure to unpleasant and noxious fumes, odors, dust, temperatures, noise and inclement weather
  • Must have the physical ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, bend, kneel and uses hands, arms and legs for dexterity and balance on a frequent basis
  • Occasionally lifts, carries and balances objects weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Pulls and pushes such objects as file drawers, computers and similar office equipment and supplies
  • Prioritizes and multi-tasks work and projects requiring good memory, concentration and analytical thinking
  • Occasionally is required to perform the safe operation of a vehicle, office equipment and machines, and recognize and abate safety hazards within the workplace
  • Must be able to hear, see including distinction of colors, read and communicate verbally and in writing frequently with a wide range of people from divergent socio-economic backgrounds and origins
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low
  • Location : Onsite / Oceanside

    Salary : $100,000-$105,000

    Hours : Monday-Friday : 8am-5pm
